Overview

Credit Controller Location: Leeds City Centre, LS1 Salary: £20,000-£25,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday-Friday - 9am-5pm (37.5 hours) This is a full-time permanent position. The Credit Controller will work as part of the accounts team to deliver the following objectives: To ensure the delivery of a high-quality financial accounting services To reduce day sales outstanding levels as part of effective credit control To resolve customer invoice queries efficiently To work effectively as part of a team Support the Finance Manager in delivering high quality management information Main responsibilities: Accounts Receivable Processing the daily sales batches on the service system Printing and distribution of all sales invoices Importing daily sales batches onto the finance system Setting up new customers in an efficient manner Recording customer receipts accurately and timely Ensuring the swift collection of outstanding due debtors Printing and distribution of account statements and dunning letters as appropriate Credit management partner liaison to ensure legal procedures are completed efficiently Customer Complaints Administration / Customer Invoice Query Management Record, research and resolve invoice queries efficiently Arrange credit notes or refunds approval (where applicable) Record and distribute incoming customer complaints Other Duties: Other ad-hoc duties necessary to support the finance manager and the finance team Requirements: At least 1 year Credit Control experience Office suite knowledge including Excel to intermediate level Knowledge of accounting systems or processes Team player Communication skills at all levels Time management Efficient organisational skills Financial accounting experience IT skills We are working quickly to fill this post.
