Overview
Our client is a global insurer that is a market leader and trend setter in its field. Due to the recent reorganisation and investment to their legal team, they are now keen to hire an experienced corporate commercial lawyer to join their company working closely with the general counsel. Duties will include: Drafting negotiating and advising around a broad range of corporate commercial transactions across the company. Advising around commercial elements of insurance agreements and managing legal aspects of the companies underwriting activities. Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external counsel. The successful candidate will be: Qualified as a lawyer in England and Wales. Trained and qualified within a leading UK/US law firm or well regarding in-house legal team. Experienced with a broad range of corporate transactions and commercial contract negotiation. Experienced with the insurance sector whether that be from direct employment/secondment or familiarity with the broad subject matter.
