Graduate Sports Sales Executive Location: Manchester Salary: £18-£20k plus OTE £31k Start: ASAP The Client Operating in 4 core-sports; football, rugby union, rugby league and cricket this leading sports marketing agency enable blue-chip companies to benefit from high exposure at the world’s top sporting events. They also represent global sport organisations including the FA and Welsh Rugby Union and provides outstanding sales services. Due to expansion they are looking for two graduate sales executives to join a very successful and experienced sales team selling perimeter advertising opportunities at high profile televised international sporting events including exclusive international tours and matches for Barcelona and Real Madrid Responsibilities as a Sales Executive: · Carrying out industry research to target pote ntial clients · Generating new and repeat business, over the phone in a direct, dynamic and professional manner · Following the full sales life-cycle, from pitching and building rapport with CEO’s/MD’s of blue chip companies through to negotiation and closing of deals · Working to meet targets in a competitive sales environment This is a high level sales role - you will be required to manage and develop you own business leads through sales and marketing, pitching over the phone to senior executives at well-known brands, selling the benefits of involvement at major televised sporting events. We are looking for candidates who have experience building a rapport quickly with clients, are very resilient, have a real passion for sport and love closing high value deals.
