Overview
A large food manufacturer are looking for a Interim Quality Manager on a three month contract. You'll be responsible for managing a team of QA Auditors and a QA Supervisor. You'll be experienced working to BRC and food safety standards. This is a Monday to Friday days role. Commutable from:, Stratford Upon Avon, Evesham, Worcester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Birmingham, Kidderminster Salary: Negotiable Day Rate The Role As the Interim Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating the quality department. You'll be a quality champion in site driving and maintaining high quality standards within the factory. Managing a team of QA Auditors & QA Supervisor, managing non conformances, raw material checks, internal audits and managing external audits. Updating the QMS system to make sure all updated and amend BRC standards are communicated across teams. Dealing with customer complaints and non conformances with products. Site leader of the HACCP team and implementing food safety. The Person As the Interim Quality Manager you'll be ideally degree qualified within Food Science, Food Management or Consumer Management. Strong knowledge of BRC standards and Quality standards within food manufacturing. Ability to implement them across sites. HACCP & Food Hygiene qualified. Excellent communication skills verbally and written. Internal audits, microbiology and traceability audits. Ability to manage workload effectively and confident with problem solving.
