Overview
Syndicate Accountant - London A well renowned Lloyd’s Underwriting business are looking for a confident Qualified Accountant to join the London Finance team as an Assistant Syndicate Accountant which reports directly to the Financial Controller The main responsibilities are included, but not limited to; Prepare technical journals to ensure compliance with Lloyd’s reporting requirements including UK GAAP adjustments Assist with the reconciliation of the technical accounting entries back to the source system Assist in the production and delivery of all financial regulatory and compliance returns Assist in the preparation of financial results for US GAAP reporting to the parent company Ensure timely preparation of the audit files and key reconciliations including technical balance sheet control accounts Liaise and assist with the Syndicate Accountants with External and Internal Audit as required to provide all necessary supporting documentation in relation to the Technical Accounting The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). The candidate will also have previous syndicate accounting knowledge.
