Kennedys is looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Group Financial Reporting (GFR) team based in London, on a 12 month fixed term contract. The successful Financial Accountant will work as part of the GFR team, alongside Financial Planning & Analysis, Partnership Tax and Elite Support teams, to provide a proactive reporting and support service to the firm including management accounts, statutory reporting, board reporting, projects and processes. The role is global in nature. Team Kennedys Finance team support the firm globally producing timely and accurate financial and management information, reporting solutions and operational support to maintain the high standard of service offered to the firm’s internal and external clients. Our Finance team is made up of Group Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Credit Control, Legal Cashiers and Billers, and Financial Operations Database teams. Our UK Finance team is based in London and Chelmsford and has a presence in eight global offices. Key Responsibilities Assist in the production and creation of monthly financial reporting packs for the group including : management accounts, board reports Maintenance and review of fixed asset registers Respond to all queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner, referring complex and contentious issues to the Financial Reporting Manager. Required experience AAT qualified, ACCA starter (or currently working towards) Legal experience within a multi-currency environment Experience in Excel and finance systems, preferably Elite 3E.
