Overview

My client is looking for wonderful people with a zest for life to join their Residential Children’s Home, providing a supportive environment for learning and development. As a Children's Home Team Leader you will be an excellent role model to the young people and you will lead, delegate, supervise and assess the support workers practice. Children's Home Team Leader Duties and Responsibilities:  Undertake the day to day management of the household as directed by the home manager or assistant manager  Offer professional practice support meetings to staff to complement staff supervision  Encourage, support and guide members of the staff team  Be the Key Worker for individual children  Attend Case Reviews, Planning Meetings and any other meetings as required  Undertake specific administration tasks within the unit as directed by the Home Manager  Actively participate in supervision, appraisal, training, meetings & consultancies  Maintain records as required  Contribute to the development of the children and young people through the provision of a healthy life style  To be alert to signs of distress or abuse and to ensure that the children and young people are monitored and protected and have their needs met ensuring that all safeguarding needs are met.  Contribute to care planning and the implementation of these plans Children's Home Team Leader Minimum Requirements:  Level 3 Children and Young Peoples workfore or equivalent (Essential)  Level 5 Leadership and Management (Desirable)  Experience of working with challenging children in a residential setting  Experience in operational & strategic management skills of children, staff & service resources  Ability to be flexible, work shifts and on call rota Children's Home Team Leader Benefits:  £30 sleep ins  £15 per week travel allowance Closing date: ASAP Interview: ASAP Contact: Neha at Job Paths 4 U Job Paths 4 U is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
