Overview
We Care Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting Residential Childcare Officers for children’s homes based in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a temp to perm basis. Our client urgently seeks experienced Residential Childcare Officers to join their team during a period of expansion. Helping to support the established team, you will be providing therapeutic support to children and young people. You will be working as part of a team of Residential Childcare Workers so good communication, flexibility and teamwork is essential. We require someone with diverse skills who can empathise with children with complex needs and manage a range of challenging behaviours. Must be able to work on a flexible shift pattern which will include day shift, waking nights, sleep in shifts. Drivers would be beneficial but not essential. Must already have or be willing to work towards an NVQ level 3 in children and young people. Salary can be negotiable for the right candidate.
