Overview

As a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and operation of the organisations cloud infrastructure, ensuring a high level of availability to all cloud services. This includes responsibility for any hybrid solutions between on-premise and cloud infrastructure and on-premise infrastructure support. Working from our refurbished office in Weston-super-Mare you will be joining a team of highly skilled Infrastructure Engineers supporting the business across our regions. This is a full time, permanent opportunity. To be a successful Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer you should: Be able to communicate effectively with technical and business colleagues. Have extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies, mainly Microsoft Azure Have good knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and virtual machine computing Have a logical and methodical approach to diagnosing and troubleshooting network problems Be able to be proactive in identifying business needs and a can-do approach to meeting them. Be able to engage with a variety of people at all levels & with different levels of IT skills & knowledge Be able to handle & prioritise a busy workload, juggling changing priorities.
