Minimum qualifications: + Experience in management consulting, investment banking, covering technology businesses, or similar experience. + Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, and leading operational and strategic initiatives. Preferred qualifications: + Excellent problem-solving and project management skills. + Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work with executive level. + Knowledge of consumption-based business models. + Ability to converse in the technical aspects of cloud computing infrastructure and enterprise IT deployments. Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You help fellow sales Googlers by performing budgeting, planning, and analysis activities - and through your passion for the magic of Google products like G Suite and Chrome. Not only do you provide invaluable financial and budgeting input, but you also devise new ways for us to communicate with potential leads and bring them into the Google fold. Your insight means you excel at customer segmentation, acquisition, and retention. You combine clean communication with strong analytical skills and a solid commitment to providing customers with a Googley customer experience. You also peer into the future for us; you examine and analyze statistical data to forecast marketing trends and to identify potential new markets for Google Cloud. As a Strategy Lead, you will play a critical role in developing the strategy for how Google Cloud operates in EMEA. You will help to define our overall go-to-market strategy, review resourcing investments, build business plans for new infrastructure projects, analyze the financial viability of different solutions and verticals, and study the market to ensure an understanding of macroeconomic trends and the market landscape. You will be a strategic partner for the leadership of Google Cloud EMEA in a visible and impactful role, helping shape and guide the investments that we make. Customers in more than 150 countries turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to solve their most critical business problems. + Collaborate across several cross-functional Google teams in order to set and continuously update the overall strategy for Google Cloud in EMEA. + Work with EMEA Leadership to define where we make investments in terms of resourcing, infrastructure (i.e. data centers), etc. + Dive into the financial ecosystem of our business to understand the relative profitability of solutions, markets, and verticals. + Research the macroeconomic and competitive trends in the EMEA market to understand new initiatives that can accelerate growth.
