Compliance Surveyor - Somerset
Overview
Long-term interim requirement for a Surveyor to join a Somerset based Housing Association Your new company As a surveyor you will be joining a leading provider of housing located in the Bridgwater and Somerset region. Supporting the delivery of planned works, you will work alongside colleagues in reactive repairs, compliance and project management. Your new role As a Surveyor you will take a lead in the management and delivery of property compliance works, including gas, asbestos and legionella. This role will involve supervision of works on site, as well as management of both the contract and contractor - ensuring works are delivered on time and to budget. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in your position you'll need to have previous experience in the housing maintenance position which involved the supervision of works, contractors and liaison with tenants. What you'll get in return In return you'll receive an initial contract offer for duration of up to six months alongside a competitive hourly rate. Your contract is likely to extend, and there is also a potential for the role to progress into a permanent position.
