The business have just gone through a transaction with a VC Company and are looking for a Tax & Treasury to take control of the groups function. With Treasury being a clear area the business have neglected to this point, the company are looking for someone to change the culture and transform the function into an area of excellence. this offers a great opportunity to an ambitious specialist to create a Tax & Treasury function however they see fit With a turnover of £1billion, they are already well renowned and market leading, but this company have ambitious growth to continue this successful trajectory. This will give you the opportunity to heavily involved in numerous different acquisitions and transactions. The responsibilities of the Tax & Treasury Manager include: Implementing and managing a FX hedging policy Being in charge of preparing and monitoring the group tax provision and tax cash estimates Simplify the tax structure, continually improving and automating the processes, in order to minimise the use of third parties Ensuring all internal controls for accounting and income tax are in place and appropriate Managing all relationships with the necessary banks and third parties Looking after the organisations Invoice Discounting Facility The ideal Tax & Treasury Manager will have: Experience of working in a treasury and dealing with international corporate tax Previously worked in a Big 4 accounting firm Experience of being responsible for an ID Facility A working understanding of IFRS in regards to foreign currency, investment and taxes
