Job Title: Draughtsman / Technician Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 Location: East Barnet Start: ASAP Due to an increased workload my client, who specialises in the design and supply of bespoke natural stone ( Marble ) for the interior design sector, is looking for a CAD Draughtsman / Technician to joint their team This role is a full-time position based at the company office with immediate start. Candidates wishing to apply should be UK based within reasonable a commute and available for start within usual notice periods. Job Description: Speak with clients to understand brief and design needs. Attend site and accurately perform site surveys prior to design Create AutoCAD designs for approval by the client You will be expected to liaise with factory workers to ensure correct size, details, stones and patterns are manufactured correctly. You will prepare production paperwork from templates and create the cutting sheets, following productions systems and procedures. Experience: On site experience – surveying and measuring to a very precise level Experience working with Stone, Bespoke Joinery, Architectural Metalwork, Architectural Glass etc. Production of detailed AutoCAD technical drawings Previously prepared production paperwork from templates and create cutting sheets Own vehicle and valid UK drivers’ licence is essential This position is immediately available with the intention to make a hire as soon as possible.
