Overview

We have an opportunity for a Relationship Manager to work in this Private Bank in London to manage a portfolio of customers, with specific responsibilities around relationship management and credit control. You will generate some new business opportunities mainly through referrals from the existing portfolio, but also some self-generated leads, via intermediaries and brokers. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio in such a way that delivers the highest level of customer service. Interaction with some of the bank’s intemedary contacts to help build their portfolio. Ensure that you look after Clients in the best possible way, promoting all the banks services. Assess and make recommendations for suitability of prospective customers, prepare Clients reviews in a timely manner. Proactive Customer contact, and support Relationship Managers Assistants where necessary on day to day issues, provide internal guidance on banking issues. Provide support and cover for other team members, able to professionally follow up on prospective customer and new business leads from other Relationship Managers. Ensure there is a high, diverse, attendance rate at events across the Relationship Manager population. Sets high standards & follows established bank policies and procedures ensuring they demonstrate accountability in their role. To apply you should ideally be educated to degree standard with ACIB/BSc in Financial Services or equivalent. A minimum of 2 A levels grades A-C or equivalent, CeMAP required and the desire to undertake other qualifications A proven track record as a Relationship Manager is preferred, with the ability to create new business independently as well as from existing customers, strong networking skills. Will have had experience in Credit Risk and be able to show a good understanding of regulatory requirements of a Relationship Manager. Candidates must have a sound knowledge of financial matters, UK/Global economy and financial products and services and excellent PC skills.
