Overview
IT Support Engineer Our client is currently looking to recruit a IT Support Engineer, to provide a telephone support service for all their customers, their contractors and our own field engineers. You will also organise and control application support with continual assessment and supporting documentation. Additionally, you will continually maintain and produce the required documentation for the installation and commissioning of a IT project, through operational and design qualification documentation. Also work closely with Technical Engineering to be fully conversant with the function and operation of all products, software and services developed. When released from development, undertake full qualification testing of all products and services reporting back on issues found. As part of the role, you will be expected to work closely with internal Technical Services team to understand the IT communications systems and services and provide configuration, monitoring and support services for remote IP communications systems, as well as ensure that the IT system remains secure, virus free and fully recoverable and provide IT infrastructure and support services to members of staff allowing them to do their job effectively. You will have strong Microsoft technologies, and ideal some exposure to Cisco and VOIP.
