You can literally choose your own working hours with this position Info about the company The Head of Mechanical Engineering will be working for an exciting automotive company, developing the latest mechanical, battery and electronics technology for vehicles, with ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years Info about what the Head of Mechanical Engineering role entails · Managing and leading an engineering team · Driving the research, development and implementation of new materials for design for manufacture and product development · Helping to shape the product and engineering strategy by way of using new advanced materials and the latest in engineering and manufacturing techniques Essential Requirements of the Head of Mechanical Engineering · Strong FEA experience · Experience with 3D CAD · Hands on experience developing new designs for parts · Liaising with, and identifying new suppliers, constantly striving for excellence · Good team leadership skills · Background in design for manufacture, including the use of DFMEA · Degree qualified (or equivalent) If you feel you are suitable and interested in this role, APPLY NOW with an up to date CV.
