Overview

Do you have a passion for finance and accounting and a background in working with Excel and analysis? My client is seeking a Finance Assistant to work in their Edinburgh office on a salary range of £21,000 and £23,000. You'll join a collaborative and inclusive team and will be entitled to an excellent benefits package designed to attract and retain the best talent. Your full-time working hours in Edinburgh will be between 9:00 and 17:30 hours, and you will be paid overtime for working beyond the duty hours. There will be options in place to work remotely and flexibly, your health and safety will always be of utmost importance. There is no weekend work, so we're confident you'll find a nice work/life balance. As a Finance Assistant, you will be providing day to day assistance with Cash Room procedures under the supervision of the Cashier. Your duties include daily processing entries in a timely and accurate manner, weekly reconciliation of bank statements, assisting in Credit Control activities and checking and issuing Fee Notes amongst others. The benefits package comes with a Group Pension Scheme, Death-in-service insurance cover, Group Income Protection and profit related bonus scheme. You will also be entitled to 23 paid working days as leave. Training will be provided on their bespoke systems which are currently in use at their office and your professional development will be factored into your everyday working role.
