Overview
What you'll be doing: Oversee an appropriate control framework/ environment for the Division Supervise the creation of monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts Develop and issue group guidelines for MTP Develop and issue group guidelines for forecasting Develop Transactional Revenue forecasting Perform Fixed Assets Review & Commentary Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation Collaborate with auditors, group and internal, to ensure proper compliance with all regulations Support with development of budgets and financial plans for the Division Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies Report timely and accurate financial information Assist in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members Review and approve profit centre reports and identify any variances Review divisional cost centre reports and identify any variances Responsible for the provision of high-quality support and advice services to budget holders, managers, and other staff What we're looking for: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with significant post qualification experience Proven experience in a senior Finance line role with responsibility for delivery of controllership activities Expert knowledge/demonstrated experience in design delivery and improving financial close processes, financial reporting and control Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, GAAP) and relevant accounting standards Demonstrated experience in process re-engineering, program management and technology implementation. Demonstrated ability to synthesise varied viewpoints to identify an optimal solution and develop a coherent plan or vision Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels of the organisation on a global basis Proven leadership, analytical, influencing and managerial skills Action-oriented: ability to turn strategic visions into executable tactics effectively and do what is needed to deliver results About Capita/Group Finance Capita is a leading UK provider of technology enabled business services.
