Overview
My client is looking for an experienced Social worker to complete Child Permanence Report (CPR) assessments. This is non case holding social work role This will include meeting the child, child’s foster carer and child’s parents and working alongside the allocated social worker to gather the relevant information Completing a genogram to understand the wider family network and which family members have been considered in the decision making process Reviewing the case file to understand the chronology for the child and birth family history Reviewing the medical information to understand the child’s needs and how they could impact future matching Attending care planning meetings and reviewing and understanding each realistic option, in line with the Re:BS guidance Considering future contact plans between parents and siblings Work closely with the social worker and Team Manager to complete CPRs within timescales. Work closely with the Agency Decision Maker to plan SHOBPA (should be placed for adoption) timetables to ensure the work is completing in line with Court timescales. This role requires an Enhanced DBS and full SW England registration which you will have to provide prior to interview for the role.
