Overview

Assistant Finance Business Partner Contract: Permanent Salary: £32,500 Location: Berkshire Badenoch Clark is proud to be partnering with a innovative housing organisation based in Berkshire, to recruit for a technical Assistant Finance Business Partner, to be a fundamental aspect of the team to collecting vital information which will inform the decisions and drive business. My client is looking for candidates who are technical and can expertly deliver their financial knowledge to teams across the business and effectively interpret data ensuring employees have an understanding. Key responsibilities: Collaborate with the Executives and the team managers to ensure costs are reported in a timely and accurate manner and in line with the budget expectations. Inform managers regularly to help interpret their financial information and feedback variance analysis information to the Head of Finance for inclusion in the monthly management reporting pack. Assist managers with setting their budgets and building their forecasts for the inclusion in the consolidated annual budget management accounts. Produce monthly accounts for Community Services and properties. As well as quarterly reports for external agencies. Collaborate with the Service Charges Accountant to ensure any recoverable service costs are budgets for accurately. Partner with the Senior Finance Business Partner to ensure pay and non-pay costs for the annual Housemark submission are correct and consistent with the FVA. You: Accounting experience in a SME environment. Experience of successfully working closely with departments outside of finance. Experience of producing accounts from a trial balance. Ability to analyse and report on substantial quantities of data. Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues. Strong attention to detail Excellent report writing skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Advanced MS Excel/Word). Ability to use accounting software.
