Overview
A fantastic opportunity to join Experian's Global Technology Services organisation, based in Nottingham, working as a Senior Network Engineer aligned to the UK&I EMEA Network Engineering Development Team. The team operates in a fast paced, changing and challenging 24x7 environment. The team is extremely client focused on providing the very best service whilst being agile & flexible to support our business in delivery of many revenue generating projects. The UK&I EMEA Network Engineering Team provides services across the UK&I and EMEA. The primary purpose of the role is to provide engineering support for small to large projects, incident and problem resolution, implementing changes and helping maintain the operational aspects of our network infrastructure. A strong technical network background is desirable. The team work with a variety of manufacturers including Checkpoint, Cisco & Citrix. Cisco or Checkpoint qualifications would be advantageous. Must have a good understanding of IP, VPN, WAN, LAN, Switching, Routers & Firewalls. Remote Access and Network Management are essential and will need to be demonstrated. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Experience working in a network engineering or network support role. Preferably qualified or knowledge of in ITIL incident, problem & change management Strong technical background in a CISCO networking environment with relevant qualifications or proven experience track record Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to various levels Flexible with approach to working.
