Manchester city centre - Friendly accountancy practice - Competent payroll administrator - Up to £26,000 (DOE) Your new firm An established accountancy firm based in central Manchester are seeking a payroll administrator to join their fast paced and friendly team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain valuable payroll experience and manage their own portfolio of clients in a busy payroll team for a firm that have in excess of 20 offices across the UK. Your new role As a payroll administrator you will be responsible for managing the end to end payroll process on a weekly, monthly and quarterly l basis for your own portfolio of clients. Your clients will include sole traders, partnerships and limited companies with client employees ranging from the tens to hundreds. Day to day duties will include processing timesheets, SSP, SPP and SMP payments, payment runs, BACS transfers, processing starters and leavers and liaising with HMRC. What you'll need to succeed The payroll manager is seeking an experienced and professional individual that understands the processes and procedures of payroll. You will need to possess past experience working in an accountancy practice or payroll bureau and you must be up to date with RTI, SSP, SMP, SPP and auto enrolment. What you'll get in return In return the firm are looking to pay a salary between £22000 and £26000 which is completely dependent on your prior experience in payroll.
