They provide Rail, Road and Air and Sea logistics solutions to a wide range of industries including Manufacturing, Machinery, Events and Retail sectors. Freight Forwarding Operator - The Rewards Salary £30000 - £33000 Supportive and employee driven company culture Excellent training and career opportunities Freight Forwarding Operator - Requirements An experienced Freight Forwarding Operator with experience within freight logistic across the varied logistical operations You need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the different aspects and considerations you will need to have while working in different manufacturing sectors A strong team player capable of working as an individual or in a team environment Can show great product knowledge within Freight Forwarding Experience within cross trade shipping Freight Forwarding Operator - Responsibilities Oversee the flow of cargo via Air, Road and Sea for shipments on behalf of the International Freight Forwarding Division Responsible for receiving shipping orders and arranging/monitoring the progress from point of origin to final delivery and ensuring all contractual obligations and service levels are met at all times Regular updates and progress reports are required to ensure that all activities are being handled correctly and are managed in line with the companies operating procedures Minimize costs and increase profits Proactively advising solutions to support customer requirements and needs in todays markets/trends Providing support, advice & service to customers including; pricing, problem solving & up selling Responding & processing quote requests About Us Detail2Recruitment acts as an employment agency in respect of this position.
