Legal Secretary - Litigation New role working for a fantastic US law firm in Central London Supporting a team of 5, made up of 1 Partner, 3 Associates and 1 Trainee, this role could be the perfect next step for any Legal PA with at least 4 years experience looking for a new challenge. Duties for this position include: - Extensive and Accurate diary management of the Partner in the allocation. - Arranging meetings/lunches/dinners - follow up confirmations - Paper filing - Amending documents - Sending out monthly bills by letter and email - Extensive travel arrangements - Timesheet entry - Arranging taxis/travel for meetings/lunches/dinners - Preparation of expense reports; petty cash and cheque requests - Audio typing (digital dictation) - Dealing with telephone queries/relaying relevant messages accurately - Scanning/copying - Opening new client matters - Preparing Audit Letters Legal Secretary - Litigation The successful Legal Secretary / Legal PA will have the option of working 9am until 5pm, with a minimal requirement for overtime. This is a balanced, "360" secretarial role, involving full organisational and technical support on a daily basis. In order to be considered for this position, you must possess the following skills/experience: - At least 4 years experience gained as a Legal Secretary/Legal PA, candidates with more experience will obviously be considered - Professional proficiency across MOS packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) - Experience of working within Litigation is beneficial but not essential, candidates with experience gained in other commercial areas will also be considered - A tested typing speed of at least 60wpm JM Legal can provide tests Please only apply if you possess the experience as listed above.
