Overview
Assistant Accountant job paying up to £30k based near Lewisham with free parking. Your new company You will be joining a well established, growing construction business in the Lewisham area with free parking onsite. Your new role Reporting into the Financial Controller and as a key member of the small accounts team, you will be taking on a broad role overseeing all areas of accounts payable processing, expenses, credit card and bank reconciliations, weekly payroll as well as supporting with CIS returns, subcontract payments and assisting with putting together the trial balance and management accounts. What you'll need to succeed In addition to your broad accounts experience ideally within a small company, you will ideally have exposure with a builder or contractor. A hands on approach is essential and confidence in dealing with a high volume of processing and investigating/resolving queries. What you'll get in return A competitive salary is on offer.
