Overview
We are looking for an established SAM with a strong track record in B2B PR, ideally in the food/FMCG sector. You’ll have experience of working in a fast-paced environment managing the day-to-day running of accounts and multiple projects, while also leading a team of people to deliver outstanding results. Minimum 5 years' experience. Specific skills required: A skilled B2B copywriter, who can effectively distil a client’s commercial objectives and category messages to educate and engage trade audiences Clear knowledge and understanding of the food industry and UK trade landscape – including grocery retail, wholesale and convenience, and foodservice channels Ability to read and interpret data to influence client press releases and feature submissions, as well as ad creatives reaching a B2B audience The ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong project management skills and juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Client relationship management will come naturally to you – this role needs someone willing and able to provide considered, honest counsel to clients on a day-to-day basis A strong people manager, with the ability to be hands on, and lead by example to motivate other team members Experience managing and coordinating trade media events and briefings, and trade advertising programmes Any other desirable skills: The ideal candidate would also have some level of experience in consumer PR, as well as an understanding of how to engage professionals in the coffee industry (including baristas) A genuine interest in food, health and wellbeing is also preferred – along with someone who truly has their finger on the pulse of the latest (and future) trends in this sector Click ' APPLY NOW '.
