Overview
Background required: We are looking for an established Senior Account Manager or Account Director with a passion for the drinks industry and a strong track record in B2B, consumer and luxury/lifestyle PR, ideally within the context of the UK and international drinks sectors, but certainly in one of them. You’ll have experience of working in a fast-paced environment managing the day-to-day running of accounts and multiple projects, while also leading a team of people to deliver outstanding results. 5 years' minimum experience required. Specific skills required: A skilled B2B and consumer copywriter, who can effectively distil a client’s commercial objectives and category messages to educate and engage both trade and consumer audiences Clear knowledge and understanding of the drinks industry and the international trade landscape within drinks – including travel retail, on-trade and specialist retail Ability to read and interpret data to influence client press releases and feature submissions, as well as ad creatives reaching a B2B audience The ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong project management skills and to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Client relationship management will come naturally to you – this role needs someone willing and able to provide considered, honest counsel to clients on a day-to-day basis A strong people manager, with the ability to be hands on and to lead by example to motivate other team members Experience of managing and co-ordinating media events and briefings, trade advertising programmes and international press trips Experience of developing professional and complete PowerPoint proposals Strong numeracy skills with a clear understanding of fee budgets and the impact of accurate team planning on resourcing Proactively drives growth opportunities within current client roster and beyond Other desirable skills: The ideal candidate should have some level of experience in social and digital communications A genuine interest in the drinks trade Any relevant drinks industry training eg: WSET Level 2/3 Click ' APPLY NOW '.
