Overview
Assistant Merchandiser Up to £30,000pa Central London An established womenswear lifestyle brand renowned for it's multi-product fashion, performance-wear and accessories is currently recruiting for an Assistant Merchandiser with strong analytical and production experience to join its fast growing creative head office team based in Central London. As an Assistant Merchandiser you will be responsible for maintaining the critical path, delivering admin support to the buyer, running weekly sales reports, and ensuring correct store allocations and stock level. You will organise and attend weekly fit sessions, recording fit comments and sample management. Liaising closely with external supplier and effectively communicating across different departments, attend supplier and store visits nationwide, raising POs, negotiating prices, discount terms and transportation with suppliers and developing long term contractual relationships. The ideal applicant must have previous buying or merchandising experience working for an established fashion brand or retailer. Possessing strong numerical, analytical and commercial awareness skills, and a passion for womenswear fashion is highly essential. You must be an excellent communicator both written and verbal with strong I.T skills which includes Microsoft Excel, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
