Overview

White Label are proud to be partnered with an engineering company in the Doncaster area who are looking to recruit a Design Engineer due to company growth and increased project demand. My client is specialise within the commercial vehicle industry focusing on varied sheet metal design. This opportunity would suite someone really looking to make their mark on a company looking to grow and expand. The role Prepare all necessary production drawings, in line with agreed Company schedules, to ensure that performance and quality requirements of the specification are met. Ensure all designs are cost effective in terms of optimising the utilisation of labour and materials. Ensure designs relate to standards required by specific customers and specific markets and that all statutory conditions are met. Provide, issue and control drawings to Company departments and to sub-contractors. Ultimately manage multiple projects from conception to completion liaising with both internal and external customers and suppliers. Requirements 3D CAD design experience. If you have Solidworks experience that would be an advantage. 3 years or more mechanical design experience. Automotive/Sheet Metal experience would be an advantage.
