We are a large electronics company based in Hampshire who, due to a popular demand of products, are expanding An exciting opportunity to be part of this expansion has come up for a Firmware Engineer to join the team. The engineer has the opportunity to be based in either our Hampshire or London office but some travel may be needed between the two. Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop your career? Responsibilities Architecting, specifying, designing, developing and testing, embedded firmware solutions for RTOS and Linux based devices Provide expertise on system on chip devices used in IoT design ST, NXP, Microchip, Renesas Designing cellular modems and other wireless technologies Experience needed Degree qualified in a relevant field software, electronic etc C or C++ language and scripting experience Knowledge developing firmware for embedded systems such as; RTOS, Linix BSP, I2C, SPI, and UART Code design for low battery power OS and optimisation Understanding of circuit schematics Source code management tools Software development life cycle and IoT security In return, we offer a competitive salary, working arrangements and great career progression for the right candidate.
