Overview

Pertemps are currently working with a prestigious civil engineering client in the city centre of Glasgow who are recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to join their Facilities Management team. This is a temporary role with the huge potential to go permanent for the right candidate. With the view to start in the next couple of weeks. Your key responsibilities will include: • Liaising with staff at all Scotland sites to help with concerns and issues that they may have regarding maintenance issues in the offices • Ensuring that budgets are adhered to in terms of labour spend, consumable spend and equipment; supporting the Facilities Manager • Supporting delivery of toolbox talks (bitesize training) to the team • Helping the Facilities Management Team with administration duties • Any other requests made from the Senior Facilities Manager • Supplying teas, coffees and buffets to internal meeting rooms • Daily cleaning of the coffee machines and making sure they are fully stocked • Ordering via the online system consumables for the coffee machines • Managing contractors sent to site to carry out maintenance jobs The ideal candidate will: • Be educated to A Level (or equivalent) - desirable • Possess IOSH Managing Safely – desirable • Have worked in a supervisory capacity within a Facilities Management team and have experience of working with a diverse group of people, over different shift patterns • Have experience of assisting in the management of performance against a set of KPIs is essential • Have customer service delivery experience • Be customer Focused • Have good attention to detail If you are interested in this role, please send your CV to Amy Sinclair at Pertemps.
