Atholl Rose People are delighted to be supporting a national charity that has been helping children and young people in this country for over 130 years. They run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a successful dynamic Business Development Team. Developing business in order to generate income and achieve greater impact for the benefit of vulnerable young people. The Role Responsible for the development of high quality written bids ensuring funding requirements are fulfilled. Ensure all bids have a clear bid development plan completed and communicated with relevant internal stakeholders. Manage the end-to-end delivery of bids from responses to PQQs, ITTs, requests for funding bids and pitches, including ensuring bids are compliant. Support the Head of Bid Management as required to respond to urgent business requirements. In order to be successful in this role, you must have: Strong literacy skills Excellent bid writing skills and knowledge Planning and business processes Quality assurance and control Project management Gaining commitment Time management IT skills, including excel Monitoring and analysing results Attention to detail Pipeline management Knowledge of sales disciplines Understanding of pricing tools Experience Essential: Experience and proven success in a bid management role of a commercial/business development/sales function Winning multi-year, £0.5m contracted revenue/service deals Consortium/partnership bidding Public-sector/commissioning based markets Customer-centric Excellent Benefits: Cycle to work scheme: Save up to 39% on the cost of a new bike and spread the cost across the year.
