Adecco are currently recruiting for a PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR to work for a Local Authority based in Southall. PART-TIME ADMINISTRATOR SOUTHALL 20 HOURS PER WEEK (FLEXIBLE) TEMPORARY ROLE - 3 MONTHS MINIMUM £13.40 PER HOUR Administrative and Operations Assistant. Primary role is supporting the supporting the instrument Hire service. Day to day this involves liaising with visitors to arrange for the collection and return of instruments and maintaining the instrument hire database. EMS is undertaking a stock take of instruments and audit of the hires database and so the role will involve a combination of customer service skills, data entry and administration, and Excel skills. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: a) To be the first point of contact for all enquiries linked to instruments and, along with other members of the team, all other aspects of the service b) To deal with queries related to invoices and charges for instrument hires c) To issue and receive instruments to families, schools and other partner organisations ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed and recorded on the Paritor database, and to instruct the Corporate Collections Team to raise invoices/issue refunds as required d) To ensure instruments are serviceable and ready for hire e) Undertake minor repairs and arrange to send instruments requiring major repairs 2) Media and Communications a) Support EMS colleagues in the creation, update, production and distribution of: The EMS newsletter Pulse and other newsletters, flyers and leaflets Materials (text, photographs, sound and video) for the EMS Website and other Social Media channels Video/showreels for EMS events using specialist video editing software. b) Support EMS colleagues in developing the EMS social media programme 3) General Administrative Duties a) Provide administrative support including but not limited to: Answer calls, taking messages, and dealing with queries from members of the public Filing, faxing, photocopying, and sending/receiving e-mails on behalf of the service Monitor the EMS database Produce documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint Attend and taking minutes of team meetings Process incoming post, adding details onto the correspondence database b) Represent and support the service at Borough and external events c) Undertake any other operations, administrative or clerical duties commensurate with this role Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
