Support Worker We are looking for proactive, reliable, resilient and passionate support staff with a ‘can do’ attitude to work in variety of settings including supported living, care homes and in the community in Nottingham. Our client has work for you Location: Nottingham Salary: £16,816 - £19,088 per annum (£8.74 - £9.92) plus enhancements Hours: Full time and Part Time hours available - This is a 3 month fixed term role with the possibility of an extension. Closing Date: 13 April 2020 About the role: In the role of Support Worker helping and caring for others must come naturally to you. You will be outgoing, values-led and motivated and will work as part of a team to help bring the best out of vulnerable people and keep them safe. No two days will be the same Support could be anything from painting, reading, watching a movie cooking or even watching football, cleaning, personal care, e.g. dressing, washing, shaving, going to the toilet. But, ultimately it must be the service users choice; obviously staying safe and engaged whilst socially distancing. About you: Don’t worry if you don’t have previous experience Full training will be provided to help you gain the skills needed to succeed in the role. As an added bonus, you will be paid to train – how ace is that Shift times will be reliant on what service you’re working at and the needs of the service user. There is a variety of shifts to fit around childcare and other commitments so don’t worry if you can’t work on a rota basis. Shifts available will include earlies, late shifts and night working. We have various contracts available and welcome applicants that are looking for part-time or full-time or bank opportunities.
