Overview

My client, a Data consultancy based in cental London are currently in the market for a Cloud Data Architect to help design end-to-end solutions for Advanced Analytics and Data Science platforms. Job Role: Design and develop cloud-based data management solutions Process data from multiple sources and systems into data platforms Create and manage data environments in the Cloud Understand security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of data Work alongside insights and analytical team to fully understand data requirements Provide leadership to members of the data team. Experience required: Technically astute with legacy big data technologies such as Teradata, Netezza or Hadoop Highly experienced on with cloud data management technologies such as Snowflake or Azure Experience managing teams of both onshore and offshore developers A good understanding with architecture design patterns guiding operational management and development best practices. Technical Skillset: Highly proficient with the full Azure stack Well versed migration from on-premises data warehouse to cloud solutions (Snowflake) Strong understanding of data governance principles including, but not limited to Master Data Management, Data Lineage and Data Security ETL/ELT Strong development backgroung in two of the following languages etc. SQL, Python, Java, Scala, C#, R Data Warehousing experience, building operational ETL/ELT data pipelines across a number of sources.
