Overview
Riverside are currently recruiting for Relief Workers based throughout the Guidford area working on a flexible basis, covering staff holidays, sickness etc with the possibility of night and weekend shifts. As a Relief worker, you will be the first point of contact for customers, working on reception, general cleaning and housekeeping duties, health and safety checks and reporting in order to maintain the safety of the customers and the vibrancy of the service. What will you do? As a trusted member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting in the provision of a highly customer focused housing service, which promotes independence, respect and choices. Day to day Your usual responsibilities as a Relief Worker will include: • Providing a high quality customer focused service. • Encourage and enable customers to be as independent as possible. • Maintain records and provide an administrative service. • Maintain cleanliness and health and safety of the scheme. • Work across a small geographical area providing cover when necessary. The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in a homeless or support setting and have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to show initiative and remain resilient, reliable and motivated at all times.
