A fresh food pub located in the Chesterfield region is seeking a Sous Chef Role: A popular fresh food pub which is also a regular hosts of functions, conferences and weddings is seeking to appoint a Sous Chef to the kitchen.The menus at the pub feature British pub classics as well as more modern dishes with the property open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a carvery on Sundays.In this role of Sous Chef you will be joining the team of five chefs in the kitchen with the added responsibility of running service when required and assisting with the development of the junior chefs cooking skills. Requirements: It is important that all Sous Chefs applying for this role have good all round cooking skills with experience working in decent, fresh food kitchens where you gained plenty of banqueting experience.As well as being a talented chef it is also essential that you have developed strong team leadership skills and have the ability to lead a kitchen when under pressure serving high numbers of covers.
