A Pastry Chef de Partie role is available at a fantastic hotel located in the Bath region Role: The Head Chef of a privately owned hotel is seeking a Pastry Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team and take control of the pastry section.The hotel offers high quality dining in its modern British restaurant that seats 70 covers with menus that highlight ingredients that are at the peak of their season with an ‘a la carte’ menu for lunch and dinner as well as light dishes/ snacks served throughout the day.The hotel is also used for a small number of weddings and special events but this is an area the business is seeking to increase.As Pastry Chef de Partie you will be creating the desserts for the restaurant as well as the banquets but will also create the breads and pastry items for the kitchen. Requirements: The role needs an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie who has experience working to two AA Rosette standards and is used to running a busy section in the kitchen.Knowledge of both restaurant and banqueting is essential for the role.It is important that you are up to date with modern techniques of cooking and presentation.
