Senior DevOps Engineer Senior Platform Engineer / Senior Site Reliability Engineer We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a World Renowned Organisation within Financial Services as a Senior DevOps Engineer , to be part of their expanding software development group. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be involved in defining technical solutions, infrastructure architecture and implementation of engineering solutions in an established engineering function. You will work as part of a large software development group evolving their Agile maturity to deliver the best products within the financial services industry. Required Senior DevOps Engineer Skills: Cloud services - Management of cloud infrastructure in AWS (preferably cloud certification). Docker/ Kubernetes Microservices Architecture - support applications using: Apache Kafka/Hashicorp Vault GIT Ansible , Hashicorp Packer & Terraform Independent programming and/or strong scripting skills. Strong Linux skills - application deployment and support: Ubuntu, Redhat Basic DB skills - MySQL / POSTGres/ DynamoDB Desirable Senior DevOps Engineer Skills: Agile / Scrum Experience of working in a software development environment Strong Documentation: using wiki to log changes, write procedures and instructions Jenkins, Maven, Git Experience with agile tools - JIRA / Confluence / Wiki / Slack Software or Operations/ Engineering background The ideal candidate for this Senior DevOps Engineer role will be passionate about Automation and understands the real benefits of Agile with significant experience of working within a DevOps culture.
