Leading Data Centre is looking to hire experienced IT Engineer who would like to progress into a Data Centre Engineer. Whilst working as an IT Engineer / Data Centre Engineer we will invest in your career and train you to become an experienced Data Centre Engineer where eventually you will be responsible for installing cross connects, smart hands, disconnects , Network trouble shooting, Racking and Stacking & Server Builds so this is a fantastic opportunity. Successful IT Engineer / Data Centre Engineer would preferably have some knowledge of IT Support , perhaps some experience of either IT Technical Support or IMAC (Install’s, moves and changes) and have enough hardware understanding to at least be able to identify what a printer is, what a server is, what a racking system is etc. IT Engineer / Data Centre Engineer may even have previous experience within a Data Centre or perhaps a background with cabling. This will be a client facing, so you'll need to have a courteous and professional manner with a proven track record in areas such as Hardware, or communications, cabling, patching, data cabling. This is a very process driven role which will require a large amount of attention to detail for production of weekly reports. Skills Required: IT Support, technical hardware knowledge and understanding, excellent verbal and written communication.
