A fantastic opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a leading Electronics Manufacturer in Defence sector has arisen As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for active support for projects right from the product concept through the whole lifecycle through to product retirement. Systems Engineer Requirements: Development of high quality, bespoke, high demand products sold into a highly regulated environment. Collaborate as a team member on multi-functional project teams, across multiple projects to deliver in a fast-moving development environment Developing system requirements based on appropriate technology using inputs from internal stakeholders, partners, collaborators and customers that is consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined. Estimating tasks and executing work packages within defined scope and budget. Define tests, simulate, test & record results to verify the system / sub system requirements have been met. Work with appropriate Systems development tools and requirements management databases Responsible for personal health, safety of yourself & others that may be affected by your activities, to arrange appropriate risk assessments whilst working internally & externally. Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements. Systems Engineer Responsibilities: Enjoys coordinating engineering activities to implement system engineering principles and building of prototypes to demonstrate capability. Experience in generating a set of acceptance test requirements, together with the designers, test engineers, and the user. The individual shall have a desire to apply appropriate principles to the generation of continuous improvement. Ability to deliver high quality documentation with a high level of attention to detail. Experience of working within a multi-discipline engineering teams with the ability to work with minimal supervision where required Must have a positive attitude with drive & enthusiasm to succeed. A clear thinker The individual should be a clear communicator, innovator, and analyser Results driven, able to conform to challenging timescales.
