Overview
An IT Systems Engineer is required by our Manufacturing client in Harrogate for a senior IT role raking responsibility for systems, processses and upgrades. A salary of up to £27k is available dependent upon experience. The IT Systems Engineer will take responsibility for the support, improvement and upgrade of company software and hardware. You will mentor one IT Support Technician, so this role could be a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to progress in regards to dipping their toes into management. The IT Systems Engineer will take on typical duties maintaining, designing and implementing information systems as well as managing the Helpdesk Ticket System. You will take on the installation and configuration of hardware for both new and existing users as well as supporting end users and the growth of systems knowledge within the business. You will ideally have a good deal of experience of the following; MS Office (Excel) and desktop/server operating systems, Database support with MS SQL or similar. This is an ideal role for an IT Systems Engineer looking to take their next career step. You will be a quick learner and used to working in small teams as well as understand how to take responsibility for systems upgrade and improvements.
