Overview
Industrial Electrical Engineer Location: London, IG8 8HD Salary: £30,000-£40,000, depending on experience Hours of Work: 08:30 - 17:15 - Monday to Thursday and 08:30 - 16:00 on Fridays About the Company: Our client understands that their continued success is down to their dedicated team, therefore, they invest time and effort in each individual; training and assisting with their personal and professional development, encouraging their strengths while offering a good work/ life balance. They have been providing complex Control Systems for Process Control, Automation and Telemetry to customers worldwide for over 30 years. They have four offices nationally; their Head office in Yateley, Hampshire, their Stafford office and a further two offices in Peterborough and Greater London. Industrial Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Design, develop, install and maintain electrical control systems and components to specification Reading design specifications and technical drawings Aiding in the production of detailed functional design specifications (FDS) Chance to learn the production, modification, testing and commissioning of SCADA & PLC software UK Site commissioning (which may involve short periods away from home) Industrial Electrical Engineer Requirements: Electrical degree, electrical technical qualification or equivalent At least 2 years' previous industrial electrical installation experience 17th or 18th Edition wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2382 Good verbal and written communication Clean UK Driving License and access to own vehicle Must be eligible to work in the UK Panel design and electrical design experience (using CAD or ePLAN) (Desirable) Electrical Inspection and testing certification (Desirable) ECS Gold Card (Desirable) Experience of PLC programming of at least one of - Rockwell / Siemens / Mitsubishi PLCs (Desirable) Industrial Electrical Engineer Benefits: Competitive salary Auto-enrolment pension scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (Rising to 30 after 5 years' service) Company bonus scheme (after 1 year service) Private Health Scheme (invited to join after 1 year service) Access to our Wellbeing programme Access to Perkbox - this gives employees access to discounted shopping, eating out, cinema and even holidays Quarterly social events and team building days Overtime / expenses scheme If you think that you are suitable for this Industrial Electrical Engineer role, please apply now Please note that one stage of the interviews for this position might take place at their Head Office in Yateley, Hampshire and candidates must be able to get to this location (GU46 7AA).
