Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for general HR, payroll and self-service process administration and resolving related queries. In addition, you will coordinate the monthly payroll, including inputting changes and working and liaising with our out-sourced payroll providers for the completion of the payroll cycle. You will take responsibility for our HR software system (iTrent), ensuring that we maximise functionality of all modules. You will be responsible for ensuring that updates and improvements are regularly implemented and that the data and documents contained within the system, as well as the related processes are kept up to date. Your role will be divided into payroll duties and HR System implementation and Development duties. On the payroll side, your role will include: Responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of the monthly staff payroll from start to finish. Ensuring all payroll data is inputted accurately and that any queries are followed through in a timely manner Reviewing source documentation, calculate and process all monthly variable payroll transactions onto our payroll software system Processing permanent payroll transactions (starters, leavers, salary and pension amendments, childcare vouchers etc.) Working and liaise with our out-sourced payroll provider to ensure that the payroll cycle is accurately completed. On the HR System Implementation and Development side, your role will include: Carrying out system administration including maintenance, system testing, ensuring data integrity, managing user access and carrying out other ad hoc systems related work and updates as required. Maintain and develop core HR systems including organisation and team structures, leaver and joiners' processes, employee records, payroll coordination, performance management and learning and development. Support the implementation of the Performance Management, Recruitment, Learning and Development and modules, including taking part in relevant training, extracting and formatting data for the new modules and providing information to support the system build and roll-out. Support the HR Systems Project Manager and HR team, on the delivery of HR System implementation, including process mapping, data quality management and actively contribute to discussions on future systems strategy and make recommendations Assist in the design and delivery of training and user guides for managers and other users. Candidates looking to apply will have a good level of Payroll experience, Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office skills, including excellent Excel. The successful candidate will be competent in both iTrent and Business Objects.You will also be able to demonstrate your experience of using HR management information systems.
