Overview

Whitezip are a fast-growing online marketing and software development agency focused on managing and creating multiple global brands within the I-Gaming industry. As Head of Data Science, you will play a pivotal leadership position within the data science department. You will be responsible for the creation of new data science capabilities for the business, and envisioning and executing strategies that will enable informed decision making and influence business performance. You will be responsible for overseeing the activity of two Data Scientists and ensuring proper execution of duties in alignment with the business’s overall vision. You will proactively work with the Business Analyst and various Senior Managers across the business in order to lead innovation within the business and, as such, define how the business can create additional value through the utilization of its data assets and analytics. The role is five-fold: Leadership Strategy Collaboration Analytics Knowledge Requirements: A degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or any other related quantitative field is essential. Minimum 7-10 years of working experience in a Data Science position Fluency in SQL, Python, Perl, Java, VB, among others. Highly skilled in statistical and modeling packages such as SAS, Statistica, Matlab, R, visualization and other advanced analysis tools. An expert in data management programming such as SQL, PL-SQL, and Python Vast experience and expertise with probability and statistics Experience leading high-performing data analyst teams Stakeholder management experience
