People Operations Generalist We’re looking for a People Operations Generalist, to work onsite in our client’s London office, to create a dynamic and organised work environment for one of the best conversational artificial intelligence teams in the world. About company Our client makes AI-powered virtual agents that intuitively understand natural speech and respond with the best answer at every turn. Think Alexa or Siri, but capable of carrying on multi-turn conversations, solving complex customer service problems, and deployed at an enterprise scale. The company was founded in 2017. Our client’s researchers are some of the most cited conversational AI scientists in the world. The team has built and deployed AI products used by millions of people every day. And customers include some of the world’s leading companies. The company’s offices are based in Clerkenwell, London. The team of 30 comes from 21 countries and territories, and they are always looking to add more cultures and voices into the mix. About the Role The People’s Operations Generalist will be the curator of the culture and values, the first point of contact for all things 'People’. You will be joining the Operations team to provide support in a number of areas such as benefits administration, on-boarding, employee engagement & cultural initiatives Over the next 12 months you will: Operate as the first HR professional, where you will wear multiple hats and create HR practices yourself. You will hit the ground running, seeing what needs to be done and won’t be afraid to make changes. You will partner with Department heads - (with a focus on the tech team) assisting in facilitating the development of the team. Implement and upgrade HR systems, as well as write new policies Manage role evaluation/benchmarking and grade/salary review requests, as well as OKR processes Be the first point of contact for all new joiners, doing all on-boarding including contracts, offer letters and share documents. Carry out any other duties required by the business within the scope of the role About you Have previous experience as a HR generalist, ideally in a fast-paced technology start-up environment You are highly organised and understand the importance of being discreet You have a natural ability to build relationships with people, you put them at ease and create understanding You enjoy spending time with people and have a strong sense of empathy You enjoy variety and have a get stuck in mentality - no task is too big or too small You are looking for the career defining role, the chance to be a key part of something Benefits Company pension: Auto enrolment to the People’s pension Holiday: 25 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) p.a.
