Overview
Abatec are working with a Civil Engineering contractor in Cheltenham who are looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The company have recently secured four civils frameworks across the South West, Devon and Cornwall areas and projects consist of highways, structures and drainage projects. The company are looking for a Project Manager ideally with experience of managing multiple schemes and someone who has been exposed to working highway frameworks and used someone who is confident with attending client update meetings. There will be travel required within this role which will involve travel to multiple sites whilst managing a large team of site agents and site engineers. Working as part of this company will give you exposure to some exciting new projects and it will also allow you to work with autonomy with the support of the Contracts Manager. As a Project Manager you will: Attend site visits & manage a large team. Programme works and monitor the quality of work in progress. Manage multiple projects making sure they are delivered on time to a high standard. Conduct site inspections and relaying the information back to the Contract Manager. Liaise with key stakeholders and senior management.
