Salary: £65,000-75,000 benefits Start date: ASAP The Company Quest are proudly working with an innovative Medical Technology start up that is building a community platform where professionals can connect, share and learn in a more efficient, cost-effective and sustainable way. With ambitions to becomes the worlds largest's medical community, they are hiring q Head of UX to bring Design, UX and UI in-house. The Role The Head of UX will work closely with the Product Director, to find practical solutions to user problems and use both UX and visual design skills to create experiences that are both visually appealing, and valuable to users across mobile and web. Key duties will include: Working with distributed engineering team to ship - overseeing that the design gets implemented as planned. Helping to shape our product experience and design language, creating and maintaining design standards for the product. Conducting and facilitating user research, from discovery through to evaluation. Recruiting and managing your own internal UX / UI design team Your skills and experience The Head of UX role will suit a senior UX professional; someone with the ability to develop a new software product and take it to market, being able to methodically tackle UX problems, align with the vision of the company and turn that vision into design concepts. You will have first-hand experience in creating mobile app experiences, and experience with wire-framing and UX methodologies. You will be passionate about user-centred design. You should be a self-starter, with great verbal and written communication skills, and able to work within a dynamic and fast paced environment. You will be comfortable bringing new ideas to the table and confidently able to lead all UX and design related activities.
