Overview

Global Buyer position with a leading management consultancy based in Central London. Your new company You will join a leading management consultancy based in Central London. Your new role This is a very interesting role that plays a pivotal role for the consultants/business development team. You will be responsible for negotiating and dealing with Market Data/Intelligence companies globally; you will be buying the information that consultants need for projects. Day to day you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of vendors across the globe, insuring that the organisation is getting the most value out of the agreement they have with them as well as identifying opportunities for savings/value add. You will also guide stakeholders through the end to end process, effectively managing expectations as well as supporting with the development of supplier strategy/plans. What you'll need to succeed You will need experience negotiating, vendor management and cost/supplier analysis. Stakeholder engagement skills are crucial as you will be working with an array of different people across the business in order to understand needs/requirements, to ensure you're best positioned to approach the supplier market to deliver maximum value. Experience working with Market Data/Intelligence companies is highly desirable, as a good understand of the way they work/operate will allow you to get off to a running start in your new role.
