support and Implementation Specialist- Coventry Basic salary £36-40k with car and 5% bonus. Coventry and field based (50/50 after training) THE CLIENT The company has established itself as a global leader in medical devices focused on blood processing technology for therapeutic and commercial uses. THE ROLE You will be responsible for the installation, support and training of company products. The jobholder is also responsible for planning and executing service activities on technical equipment, including installation, diagnosis, emergency repairs. Onsite or remote Installations and/or Upgrades of HSS Software/Hardware Provide remote level 1 and 2 support from the Help Desk Resolves problems using Telephone Support and a range of remote connection tools as available Onsite or remote evaluation (or assistance in evaluation) of hardware and/or software requirements, including interface requirements for new and/or existing customers Onsite or remote ascertainment of customer software configuration requirements based on their Standard Operating Procedures, as well as the delivery (or assistance in delivery) of configuration services Deliver effective Application training and advice on the use of products to customers and other Support representatives. Where issues cannot be resolved remotely, liaises with field staff, software developers and hardware suppliers to ensure prompt resolution Responsible for providing effective training and advice for customers and/or end users to ensure the correct operation and maintenance of company equipment and products Develops and maintains good relationships with customers Maintains accurate customer records Provides support for Upgrades Adheres to and follows company policies and procedures and applies function related SOX requirements The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the above mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs THE PERSON A degree in ICT based subject based a maximum of 45 minute commute from Coventry 3 years commercial field experience of installing and supporting I.T. systems. High level SQL server expertise. Good knowledge of Networking Knowledge of Windows OS Systems incl Windows Server Good communicaiotn skills Excellent collaboration and team building skills Work well under pressure and to deadlines
